BBC Sports Downer

Checking my BBC Sports news app. this morning, expecting praise for how the 14 England rugby players had outplayed Argentina, I was soon surprised and disappointed.

Basically the majority of the headline article revolved around the sending off of Tom Curry and the team's indiscipline. " England il-discipline is becoming a ' common theme ' " says Matt Dawson

How about encouraging the team for it's positive performance? The way they used the drop goal to outgun the opposition, tackled fearlessly ( and legally) for 69 minutes and lured Argentina into numerous penalties. Thanks for nothing BBC Sports app.

To balance my criticism I've just heard a report on BBC2 radio that extolled the performance of George Ford . That's more like it!!

Twithay?

I note that the headline on the BBC Sports app has now been changed. Progress!!!!
