Didn't he do this before? I'm sure I criticised Steve Borthwick for this same team selection in the past. Just when we are to play a side with juggernaut wingers and centres he switches Marcus Smith to fullback and drops Freddie Steward out of the match day squad!
Admittedly, Smith is a courageous tackler, punching above his weight and stature and commanding in his game play control of the game. He is wasted and exposed as a fullback.
I was proved right last time this selection was tried and I hope to be wrong this time. I think not!!! Thirty minutes to kick-off.
