Crime and NO punishment.

Since when has it not been a crime to steal or assault people?

If there is not punishment then what is the deterrent? I agree, reward works better than punishment, my dog loves his treats, but not being punished is like being rewarded!

Yesterday, Monday, a group of teenagers tried to steal alcohol from the Aldi Supermarket on the Brixham Road. In their attempt a female employee was hit in the face and is now off work. Apparently the group are known locally but no police action taken, hence no punishment, will result.

Does this not condone such behaviour?

Reward not punishment!
