Sentido Tucan, Cala D'Or - Review so far.
First impressions can be deceptive but not in this case.
As you enter the marble clad Reception area it is evident that cleanliness and style are very important. It is also an encouraging sign to be offered Cava, juice or water while signing in!
We had requested a double bed on a high floor overlooking the pool which was duly allocated to us. Number 341 at the end of the top floor was ideal. Apparently rooms not facing the pool overlook another hotel and their multilingual show in high season can be intrusive upto 2am. Annoying if you're not part of the fun.
The room is well appointed with tea/coffee making facilities, large flat screen smart tv ( so smart i still haven't figured out how to control it), fridge, 1 bottle of water and a FREE programmable safe.
Clothes hanging and storage space is limited but very acceptable to us. Air conditioning is individually controlled in the room.
The balcony and exterior appearance resembles that of the Globales, St Lucia in Palma Nova, but that's where the similarities end.
The Sentido by contrast is outstanding despite not being able to overlook the pool while seated, but we haven't spent much time in the room anyway.
Next time reviews of the food, service and entertainment. Keeping looking for more photos and videos. Meanwhile I have a date with a sundowner and a glass or two Cavas!
Twithay?
