New Housing - Preston Down Road

A leaflet detailing disturbing information about the proposed housing development at the top of Preston Down Road is being distributed by Preston Conservatives.

Originally 30% of the 103 housing development would be "affordable housing". This percentage is being accepted as desirable for all new developments in England although 10% is the least number recommended.

Some people, me included, feel that 103 houses is already sufficient and perhaps the site is wrong in the first place. However, to suggest an increase to 200 residences of any type is preposterous. The resulting increase in the number of people and vehicles is not sustainable at this location.

You have until the 5th December to make your views known. Will objections make a difference? Hopefully yes, but probably not. Let's make our voices heard via "yoursay.torbay.gov.uk/local-plan-update"
