RWC'23

I haven't seen France v Uruguay but I hear there is yet more concern being expressed about giving red cards for head tackles.

Last night Roman Taofifenau, France, hit the Uruguay scrum-half on the head with his shoulder and didn't wrap his arms either. He received a yellow card but on review this was not upgraded to a red card sending off.

From the still photo I have seen it looks as bad a tackle as others that have resulted in sending offs and suspension. I assume that playing for the host nation was not an influence on the TMOs decision. However, I'm sure we all plead for consistency.

If you've seen it what do you think about the whole incident? I'll try to watch a recording and comment again later.

Twithay?
