Shayne Ward was dumped out of Strictly Come Dancing tonight by a travesty of judgements from Anton and Shirley B.
For a long time I have thought how can you have a dance off with couples performing different dances? Where is the basis of comparison? Shirley said something like Wynne's dynamism prevailed. What about the passion, footwork and feelings expressed by Shayne! These are different criteria.
Tonight the injustice of not comparing like with like was illustrated. All dancers should have, say, a waltz, in their lockers that is compared in a head-to-head.
Come on BBC, base judgements on comparisons of same dance and required skills.
A poor outcome tonight.
On another issue, how can you have a level playing field when some of the contestants are almost professional dancers?
Twithay?
