Well Done Ref!
At last a Premiership referee takes positive action after being man-handled and abused by a player.
Disgraceful scenes at Old Trafford, when a penalty was rightly given against Fulham, adds more weight to the suggestion that no-one is allowed to approach or even talk to the referee apart from, maybe, the team captain. In my opinion, even that I feel should not be permitted. When did you last see a referee change his decision? Probably never. Any transgression in this respect should be considered verbal abuse and result in sending off.
That would stop it happening, eventually.
