Survey Results

Well, we can't give these results any more validity than the original consultation results about Paignton Pedestrianisation. However, here they are.

The question from yoursay.torbay.gov.uk was briefly, since 3rd October, have you enjoyed the pedestrianisation of Torbay Road? Yes or No? The results are conclusive if you use the Councils approach to statistics.

79% said No.

On the basis of this result let's stop now and save money.

Not that easy because once again there's a flaw in data collection. Only 24 have responded, so hardly representative of the population.

Stick some data collectors in Torbay Road to talk to people, give them a form to quickly fill in do a leaflet poll of addresses nearby, take a tally of people walking the street at various times etc. Or, go by your own result of 79% NO!
