Torbay Road - Welcome Back

I drove down Torbay Road yesterday as it has been reinstated to it's previous configuration of being two-way, linking the seafront and Paignton Town centre.

Unfortunately, I couldn't stop and take photos because it was so busy and there were cars legally parked everywhere. There were many people walking around or sitting outdoors eating and drinking. Fantastic for traders.

It was great to see confirming evidence that the sham consultation of the previous Council was in fact invalid. However, approximately £400 000 to pay for this misguided exercise, I assume, has been lost/written off. Still no-one has been made accountable and the present Council have since tried to justify the debacle.

Shame.

Twithay?
